Khatam Al-Quran meant is that we read it from beginning to end of the Qur'an, from suroh Fatiha to An-Nas.
From Ibn Abbas, he said there was someone who asked the Messenger of Allah. "O Messenger of Allah, the practice is most loved by Allah?" He replied, "Al-wal murtahal thing." This man asked again, "What is al-wal murtahal it, Messenger of Allah?" He replied, "That is the reading of Al- Qur'an from beginning to end. Each time he repeated it over again from scratch. "(Narrated by Tirmidhi)
Generation's best friend can be a generation (read: Khairul qurun) is because they have a very large ihtimam of the Qur'an. Sayyid Qutb in his book Ma'alim FII Ath-Tariq mentions three factors that they achieve the best generation secrets like that. Firstly because they make the Qur'an as the only source of a handle on life, as well throw away the lives of a variety of other sources. Second, when reading it they do not have goals for tsaqafah, knowledge, enjoy the beauty or other purposes. But their goal was merely to implement what they want God in their lives. Reading the primacy of the Koran
In the book Riyadhus Righteous, Imam Nawawi describes the hadiths pertaining to the primacy of reading the Qur'an. Among them:
1. Will be the intercessor for its readers on the Day of Resurrection.
From Abu Amamah ra, I heard the Messenger of Allah. said, "Read the Qur'an, for verily he will be the intercessor for its readers on the Day of Resurrection." (Narrated by Muslim)
2. Awarded the best man.
Of Uthman ibn Affan may Allah, the Messenger of Allah. said, "The best of you is that studying the Qur'an and teach it." (Narrated by Tirmidhi)
3. Get the reward will be with the angels in the afterlife, for excelling mambacanya.
From 'A'ishah, said: The Messenger of Allah. said, "People who read the Qur'an and he is adept at reading it, soon he will be with the angels Honourable and obedient to God." (Narrated by Bukhari, Muslim)
4. Get a reward twice, for those not fluent.
"And people who read the Qur'an, while he stammered still more severe in reading it, then he will get two rewards." (Narrated by Bukhari, Muslim)
5. Degree will be appointed by God
From 'Umar ibn Khattab ra. Messenger of Allah. said, "Behold Allahswt. will raise the degree of a people with this book (the Qur'an), with him also God may humiliate another people. "(Narrated by Muslim)
6. Getting sakinah, grace, surrounded by angels, and praised God in the presence of His creatures.
From Abu Hurairah ra. Messenger of Allah. said, "It is not a people gathered in one of the houses of Allah to recite verses from the Koran and study it, but will drop to their quietness, will be covered in them by grace, will be surrounded by angels, and God will call (praise) them in the presence of beings who are near him. "(Narrated by Muslim)
Mengkhatamkan primacy of the Koran
a. Is the practice of the most beloved of God

b. People who follow completing the Qur'aan, such as following the distribution ghanimah
From Abu Qilabah, the Messenger of Allah. says, "Anyone who witnessed the (following) reading the Qur'an when it opened (started), then as if he followed the victory (Futuh) fi sabilillah. And anyone who follows the Qur'an pengkhataman then as if he had followed the division ghanimah. "(Narrated by Addarimi)
c. Getting a prayer / blessings on the angels
Of Mus'ab ibn Sa'd from Sa'd bin Abi Waqas, he said, "If Al-Qur'an dikhatamkan coincide at the beginning of the night, the angels will bersalawat (pray) for him until dawn. And when the final coincided in the late evening, then the angels will bershalawat / pray for him until the afternoon hearts. "(Narrated by Addarimi.)
d. Following the Sunnah Prophet.
Would complete the Qur'an is the law of the Prophet. This is illustrated by the following hadeeth: From 'Abdullah bin' Amr bin Ash, he said, "O Messenger of Allah., How long I should read the Quran?" He replied, "Khatamkanlah in one month." I said again, " Really I'm capable of more than that, O Messenger of Allah? "He replied," Khatamkanlah in twenty days. "I said again," I'm still capable of much more than that, Messenger of Allah. "He replied," Khatamkanlah within fifteen days. '" I was more capable of much more than that, Messenger of Allah. "He replied," Khatamkanlah within ten days. "I replied," I'm still better able to again, O Prophet of Allah. "He replied," Khatamkanlah within five days. "I replied," I was better able to again, O Prophet of Allah. "But he did not give me permission. (Narrated by Tirmidhi)
Time would complete the Qur'an
a. Primacy of the time required to mengkhatamkan Quran
'Abdullah bin' Amr bin Ash, from the Messenger of Allah., He said, "Puasalah three days in a month." I said, "I am able to more than that, Messenger of Allah." But he remains banned, until finally he said, "Puasalah a day and eat a day, and read the Qur'an (khatamkanlah) in a month." I said, "I'm capable of much more than that, O Messenger of Allah?" He continues malarang to the limit of three days. (Narrated by Bukhari)
This hadith indicates the minimum time limits in reading the Qur'an. Because in another hadith he sometimes limit should only be within 5 days, and in another hadith in seven days. Hence it can be concluded, would complete restriction of the fastest in the Qur'an is three days.
b. Prohibition for less than three days would complete
The above hadith also hinted Ban Prophet. would complete the Quran for less than three days. The wisdom behind the ban, the Messenger of Allah. said in another hadith as follows:
'Abdullah bin' Amr, he said that the Messenger of Allah. said, "It will not be able to understand / appreciate the Qur'an, those who read less than three days." (Narrated by Abu Daud)
c. Messenger of Allah. never would complete the Qur'an in one night
From 'A'ishah, he said, "I never knew the Prophet. would complete the whole Qur'an during the night until dawn. "(Narrated by Ibn Majah)
Sunna in the Qur'an would complete technical
Is Anas bin Malik, he has a habit when they have been approached kekhataman in reading the Quran, he leaves a few verses to invite his family to mengkhatamkan together.
From Thabit al-Bunnani, he said that Anas bin Malik if it is approached in the Qur'an would complete the evening, he left little of the Qur'an, until the day dawn when he gathered his family and mengkhatamkannya with them. (Narrated by Darimi)
Lessons to be learned from the hadeeth of Anas above, is that when the seal of the Qur'an is an efficacious time to pray to God. By gathering all family members, will be able to give a blessing to the whole family. Because, all simultaneously pray to God to expect mercy and blessings from Him.
Ways To Always Can mengkhatamkan Quran
There are a few tips which might help in mengkhatamkan the Qur'an, among which are:
1. Having a 'highly respected' strong to be mengkhatamkannya in one month. Or in other words has the intention to read the chapters in one day.
2. Train yourself to be able gradually to recitations of the chapters in one day. For example for all to read (without stopping) target and a half chapters, both in the morning or late afternoon. If it is able to meet the target, increased again strived to become one juz to read.
3. Specialize in a specific time to read the Qur'an that is inviolable, unless there is a very, very important affair. This can help us to keep the commitment to read every day. The best time according to the author is ba'da dawn.
4. Enjoyed reading that is being sung by our verbal. Better yet, if we have a stable individual songs, which relieves us verbally to chant. Such conditions help to eliminate boredom when reading it.
5. Try to always clean up (read: wudoo ') first before we read the Qur'an. Because the condition of wudoo ', more or less will help to calm the liver which certainly helps in keistiqamahan read the Qur'an.
6. Read-read again about the interaction of the early generations of Muslims, in interacting with the Qur'an, both in terms of recitations, understanding or application.
7. Providing iqab or punishment personally, if it can not meet the target to read the Qur'an. For example, by the obligation infaq, memorize certain letters, etc., that are tailored to our personal condition.
8. Motivation is given within the family if any one of a family member who would complete the Qur'an, with bertasyakuran or by giving congratulations and gifts.
Would complete the Qur'an is the nature of the Prophet, the Companions, salafuna pious, and the believers who have a devotion to God. Should, we also can position the Qur'an as they have the spirit, even though we are far away from them.
"And those who strive for (seeking pleasure) We really will We show them for a walk To Us. And verily Allah is with those who do good. "(An-Ankabut: 69.
